Fall Semester

This Japanese class is tailored for beginners who want a fun and effective way to learn Japanese. We focus on developing listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills from the start. This class is followed by semester two in the spring.  This class is a creative approach to learning with individualized support provided.

Format: [In-Person] ($50* for 60 minutes/weekly). $50 Registration fee per semester.

*Weekly Fee includes all materials. Class Begins in late September 2025.

What I Offer:

• Content: Vocabulary, games, speaking practice through skits, hands on activities, singing songs, and learning to write and read Hiragana. 

• Approach: Developed by a Montessori Primary Guide to suit the developmental needs of learners.

• Funding: Acceptance of Ocean Grove Homeschooling funds.

• Language: Classes are conducted in both Japanese and English.

Spring Semester

This Japanese class is tailored for beginners who want a fun and effective way to learn Japanese. We focus on developing listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills from the start. This class is a continuation from semester 1 in the fall.  This class is a creative approach to learning with individualized support provided.

Pre-Req: Intro 1A Japanese

• Content: Vocabulary, phrases, games, speaking practice through skits, singing songs, and learning to write and read Hiragana. 

• Materials: Beautiful printable hands-on materials are provided. 

• Approach: Developed by a Montessori Guide to suit the developmental needs of learners.

• Funding: Acceptance of Ocean Grove Homeschooling funds.

• Language: Classes are conducted in both Japanese and English.
