**Important Policies** 

**Registration is Acceptance of Guided Japanese Learning Policies**

- Sick children should not attend in-person classes. If they show symptoms of illness, parents will be notified immediately.

​

- In case of from in-person classes, attending via Zoom or accessing a Zoom recording is optional with advance notice. Students in online lessons are allowed one makeup lesson per semester with a 24-hour cancellation notice, but makeup lessons are available for no-shows.

- No refunds or class credits are offered for missed days or cancellations by students enrolled in in-person classes. If a learner wishes to withdraw from in-person or online lessons, a written notice of 14 days is required to receive a refund for any pre-paid unattended classes, minus the $50 registration fee.

-Class payments are due before the first class of each month. A late fee of $20 will be billed for all payments made after the 10 of each month. There is an additional monthly processing fee of $10 for private pay learners who pay via monthly invoice PayPal or Venmo. A one-time processing fee of $ applies if paying privately for the whole semester. Cash, Zelle, or check is preferred.

- Upon receipt of the $50 non-refundable registration fee, Guided Japanese Learning reserves the student's seat in class. All other will go on a waitlist until a seat becomes available.

- Ocean Grove families are encouraged to create one Purchase Order for the entire semester If an Ocean Grove student withdraws before the month or semester is complete, Guided Japanese Learning will submit an invoice for all remaining classes, provided that a 14-day notice has been submitted in writing.

 

- Global Learners at Guided Japanese Learning, mutual respect and harmony are expected. and parents will be treated with respect and kindness and are to reciprocate this to all other children and adults in the program. Guided Japanese Learning reserves the right to discontinue service.
